About Austral Podiatry
Professional Podiatry Care for Every Step of Life
At Austral Podiatry, we believe healthy feet play an important role in everyday comfort, mobility, and quality of life. Our goal is to help you move comfortably and confidently through personalised podiatry care that considers your needs, lifestyle, and movement patterns.
Whether you are experiencing foot pain, managing an injury, or seeking a routine foot assessment, we take the time to understand your concerns before recommending suitable care. Our approach focuses on more than temporary relief.
Our Approach to Podiatry Care
Every person has different foot health needs. At Austral Podiatry, we take a holistic, patient-centred approach to assessment and treatment. We consider your symptoms, foot structure, movement, and daily activities to understand how these factors may be affecting your comfort.
Our assessments include biomechanical evaluations and visual gait analysis, when necessary. These help us examine how your feet function and identify factors that may contribute to discomfort.
Based on our findings, we recommend individualised treatment options suited to your concerns and goals. We also explain your options clearly, helping you make informed decisions about your care.

Our Podiatry Services
Austral Podiatry offers a range of services for adults, children, and people with different activity levels and foot health needs.
Custom Orthotics
We use biomechanical assessments and visual gait analysis to determine whether custom orthotics may help improve foot support, function, and comfort.
Diabetic Foot Assessments
Comprehensive assessments help identify potential foot health concerns and guide appropriate care for patients with diabetes.
Sports Podiatry
We assess and manage sports-related foot and lower-limb injuries, with treatment plans according to your condition and activity goals.
Children's Foot Care
We assess children’s foot development, walking patterns, and lower-limb concerns, providing guidance suited to their individual needs.
Ingrown Toenail Procedures
We provide treatment for painful or recurring ingrown toenails. Where clinically appropriate, procedures may include partial nail avulsion.
Laser Therapy
K-Laser therapy is available as one of our treatment options when appropriate. It complements our broader approach to care and does not replace an individual assessment.
Our recommendations depend on your symptoms and assessment findings. We focus on choosing suitable treatments for your needs rather than taking the same approach for every patient.
Meet Our Podiatrist
Austral Podiatry is owned and operated by Sabrina Hatem, who graduated from Western Sydney University in 2020 with a Bachelor of Podiatric Medicine. She is also a member of the Australian Podiatry Association (APodA).
Sabrina’s approach reflects the clinic’s focus on understanding the factors behind foot and lower-limb concerns. She considers how foot function and movement patterns can affect everyday activities and works to develop treatment plans suited to each patient’s circumstances.
At Austral Podiatry, this commitment to personalised care helps patients better understand their concerns and explore appropriate ways to improve comfort and mobility.
